Sin City Opera mounted a unique production of The Pirates of Penzance in the fall of 2018. The performance took place at Super Summer Theatre, located in Spring Valleg State Park. Given that the location would be new for many of the organization's followers, SCO wanted to have a series of shareable infotainment pieces to both educate and entice patrons to come out to the show.
StudioKurcan was tasked with creating numerous short run videos, that were played across many social and traditional media platforms. These pieces ran on Facebook, Instagram, The Las Vegas Review-Journal, and KTNV's Morning Blend. Video deployments were accompanied by still photography, channel takeovers, and interviews.
